Welcome to Reading!

I am happy to be the Reading Consultant for Sherman Elementary. I work hard to help provide extra reading support for the students throughout the school year.

I work with students in Kindergarten-4th grades. Everyday we have "Intervention Blocks" for each grade level. During this time if a student needs extra support for ELA/Math, that student will go to his/her intervention provider. Every student will receive extra support/enrichment during this time, and no one will miss any core instruction. For ELA, our focus areas of instruction include: phonemic awareness, phonics, vocabulary, reading comprehension, and fluency. Please feel free to contact me for any questions or concerns.
