D.E.A.R. Resources

D.E.A.R. Expectations

  • D.E.A.R. time is every Monday and Wednesday, 10:14-10:32 am.
  • Students should have their reading ready at the start of DEAR time. The Library is open before school and during homeroom if they need a book.
  • Students can quietly read a book they selected or a reading assignment for school. A good DEAR text does not need to be a long novel. Students are welcome to read magazines, short stories, or informational texts.
  • eBooks and audiobooks are encouraged! Students can listen with their headphones on their Chromebooks. If your DEAR group can all agree on a book, do a read-aloud!
