The mission of the West High School Counseling Program in collaboration with parents, staff, and community stakeholders, is to empower all students with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes to reach their potential in the areas of personal/social/emotional well-being and academic and career development through a data-driven, comprehensive school counseling program. We provide individual and group counseling and advising, responsive and preventative services, and college and career planning in order to assist students in achieving personal goals and reducing barriers with the goal of creating productive and engaged members of society.
