Field, Tennis Court & Pet Policy

RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR TRACK/TURF & TENNIS COURTS

 (includes softball turf field and baseball field)

• Track and turf fields and tennis courts are closed for community use when used by Waterford athletics and or Rec & Park for practice/games. No community use of field or facility during the school day.

• No food, snacks, candy, sunflower seeds, gum or drinks on the field (including sports drinks) DRINKING WATER ONLY.

• No pets. Only service animals trained to perform a specific task or work for an individual with a disability are permitted. Any pet on school property must be leashed at all times. Anyone walking their pets on school property before/after school hours MUST clean up after their pets. Pets are not permitted within the fence at any of the athletic fields (Alumni Turf Field, Jody Nazarchyk Softball Turf Field, WHS baseball field or tennis courts).

• No golfing allowed.

• No bikes, skateboards, scooters,rollerblades or other motorized wheeled vehicles are permitted on the turf, track, grass fields, tennis courts or surrounding walkways.

• No motorized vehicles on the field or track without authorization

• No fireworks, flammable liquids or heating equipment

• No metal cleats

• No heels

• No chairs, tents or stages without authorization

• No glass or sharp objects

• All materials are to be carried (not dragged) across the field

• No puncturing, using sharp equipmment or driving of stakes or anchors of any kind into the turf.

• No unauthorized use of the field (permit is required at all times)

• No alcohol on premises

• No smoking, vaping or tobacco products on premises

• No spectators on the track, field or tennis courts. All spectators must remain behind the fence.

• No climbing on or over the fences.
