3. On slide, 7, review the goal for your independent reading today

4. On slide 9, create your independent work plan

5. Complete the nonfiction text structure task cards on slide 9

6. Read 15 minutes of nonfiction

7. Read your fiction book with the remaining time

8. Log your reading on your Reading Log

   • Go to your Class App to access your Reading Log

   • Write your opinion on the top of your organizer

   • Determine your 3 reasons that support your opinion in the left column
