1. Use the model and rubric to work on building your reading symposium presentation

   • Remember your goal is to teach your classmates about your subtopic and how it played a role in the American Revolution occurring

2. Be sure to put time into your work and include the most important information into your presentation

1. Access your Writing Notebook

2. Use slides 25-28 to take notes for your subtopic paragraphs

   • Focus on taking facts directly from the source (copy and paste it, you will paraphrase LATER)

3. Explain the information you are gathering while you research

   • What does it explain to your reader about your subtopic

   • Why is it important?

   • How can you expand on the information you found while researching?

4. At the end of class, you should have research for ALL your subtopics

   • Find synonyms and antonyms to show your understanding of each word
