6. Complete an activity from the lesson choice board

1. Access readers notebook

2. Review the lesson goals on slide 16

3. On slide 17, make a work plan for you research today

4. Begin researching your topic and explore the importance and the implications (effects) of your subtopic

5. Add to your research notebook as you continue working on connecting your subtopic to the start of the American Revolution

6. When directed, add one event, it’s importance, and the implications of that event

1. Access your Writing Notebook

   • Go to your class app and click on writing

2. Complete slide 15 in your writing notebook to show your seed topic of your second informational report

   • Get your subtopic approved

3. Once your subtopic is approved, complete slide 16 & 17

   • Identify your subtopics of each body paragraph you will include in your report

4. With any remaining time, begin researching your topic

   • Research notes can be recoded in your notebook beginning on slide 25
