1. Access your reading notebook

   • Go to your Class App and click on reading

2. Create a work plan on slide 8

3. Choose a subtopic you will be researching

4. Begin reading texts about your subtopic

5. Take notes using the history research note taking and the prioritizing skills we focused on today

6. By the end of class, complete slide 8

   • Identify your subtopic

   • Complete the Who, What, and When table

1. Access your Writing Notebook

   • Go to your Class App and click on writing

2. Using the editing checklist on the class website, edit your informational masterpiece

3. Be sure to use your spell check tools

4. Whisper read your masterpiece aloud to catch any errors that don’t make your writing sound fluid

5. DO NOT RUSH YOUR EDITING, TAKE YOUR TIME

6. When your writing is complete, be sure you follow your teacher’s instructions on how to submit your work
