1. Access your reading notebook

   • Go to your Class App and click on reading

2. Complete slide 41 in your reader's notebook

3. On slide 41, in the first square, determine an important symbol from your novel and support the symbol you chose with evidence from the text

4. In the second square, find a primary source image, either using the one from slides below OR find your own image to use

   • Write a caption for the image you selected

5. See your book club teacher for approval of your planning

6. Once approved, continue working on transferring the planned and approved square of your booklet to your paper copy

2. Use your research notes in order to help write your body paragraphs

3. On slide 13, access your masterpiece document

4. Continue writing your body paragraphs
