1. Access your reading notebook

   • Go to your Class App and click on reading

2. Complete slide 42 in your reader's notebook

3. On slide 42, write 3-4 important historical events that occurred during the time period of your novel

   • Write the name or a short description of the historical event

4. In the second square, write about the impact of the historical events occurring during the time period of your novel on your character.

   • What challenges do they have to overcome because of the historical events occurring on around them.

5. See your book club teacher for approval of your planning

6. Once approved, continue working on transferring the planned and approved square of your booklet to your paper copy
