4. Meet with your book club to set a reading goal to complete by the end of class on Tuesday

   • Place your bookworm bookmark at this stopping point

   • Check the book club calendar if you are not in class

5. Make a work plan with your book club on slide 26

6. On slide 26, determine the theme of your book

   • Support this theme with 3 pieces of evidence from your book

   • This need to be completed by the end of class on TUESDAY

7. Begin reading your book club book

8. With remaining time, read your choice book

   • Go to your Class App and click on writing

3. On slide 17, review the free verse poem

   • Use the anchor chart and example to help you write your own free verse poem

4. On slide 18, write your own free verse poem

   • Plan ideas for your free verse poem

   • Begin writing your poem after you decided on your topic

   • Be sure to follow the structure provided in the anchor chart

5. Use spell check to ensure your work is the best it can be

   • Have your work checked and approved by your teacher

6. Once approved, choose your choice of publishing paper and hand write your free verse poem
