Directions:

1. Meet with your book club to create a plan for the next 2 days

   • If you are not in class, check the book club calendar for chapters- linked on slide 2 of your reader's notebook

2. Set a reading goal with your book club for your reading for the end of class on Friday

3. Review the student rubric and set an individual goal for your reading today

4. Work to create at least 3 stop and jots that are focused on your goal today

5. With any remaining time, read your choice book

   • Go to your Class App and click on writing

3. On slide 6, review the bio poem

   • Use the anchor chart and example to help you write your own bio poem

4. On slide 7, write your own bio poem

   • Be sure to follow the structure provided in the anchor chart

5. Use spell check to ensure your work is the best it can be

   • Have your work checked and approved by your teacher

6. Once approved, choose your choice of publishing paper and handwrite your bio poem
