2. Determine what the students in the example book club did well and analyze how your book club should look

3. Have a discussion with your book club using the sentence starters provided

4. After your discussion, make a list of things that went well and things to improve on

5. With your group, set a new set of pages to read for the end of class today

3. On slide 8, review the Cinquain

   • Use the anchor chart and example to help you write your own cinquain poem

4. On slide 9, write your own cinquain poem

   • Be sure to follow the structure provided in the anchor chart

5. Use spell check to ensure your work is the best it can be

   • Have your work checked and approved by your teacher

6. Once approved, choose your choice of publishing paper and handwrite your cinquain poem
