   • Go to your Class App and click on reading

3. Go to slide 8 to review the goal for today's reading session

4. Meet with your book club to set a reading goal to complete by the end of class on Tuesday

   • Place your bookworm bookmark at this stopping point

   • Check the book club calendar if you are not in class

5. Make a work plan with your book club on slide 9

6. Begin reading your book club

7. By the end of Tuesday, work to complete a timeline of important events for your main character

8. Take the time to stop and jot to grow bigger ideas

   • Look for clues that tell you more about the characters in your book

   • How do they react to challenges- what does this tell you about them?

1. Access your Writing Notebook

   • Go to your Class App and click on writing

2. On slide 17, read the prompt

   • Keep this in mind as your agenda for reading

3. Read the three passages about bald eagles

4. On slide 17, complete the Thought Map

   • Be sure your main idea is in the middle bubble and your supporting details are in the three bubbles below

   • Be sure that you only include your As for each bubble

   • Be sure each bubble of your thought map is an A from a different passage- ALL THREE PASSAGES need to be used in your answers

   • Save your explanations and citations for your RACER organizer

5. With extra time, begin working on your RACER organizer on slide 18
