2. Continue the Unit 4 Mid-Unit Assessment

   • In Class: Paper Unit 4 Mid-Unit Assessment

   • Virtual: Unit 4 Mid-Unit Assessment

   • Review your work from yesterday prior to submitting your work.

3. Continue working on your Pizza Fraction Project, following directions given in class

Directions:

1. Watch the lesson video or the lesson in class

2. Meet with your book club to create a plan for the next 2 days

   • If you are not in class, check the book club calendar for chapters- linked on slide 2 of your reader's notebook

3. On slide 6, make your group work plan & set a stopping point for your reading for Friday

4. Read your book club book for 30 minutes or until your stopping point

   • As you read, be sure you take the time to stop & jot important ideas and work to practice the strategies we have worked on so far

5. By the end of class on Friday, you will need to complete slide 7

   • This does not need to be done today, but you can work on it if you have IMPORTANT ideas to add to your notebook

Directions:

1. Access your Writing Notebook

   • Go to your Class App and click on writing

2. On slide 14, reread the prompt you are responding to

3. Reread “One Lucky Fish” as needed

4. On slide 16, click on the google classroom icon in order to access your document to type your TDA essay response

5. Continue writing your TDA on this document. Be sure to include:

   • Introduction Paragraph

   • 3 Body Paragraphs

   • Conclusion Paragraph

6. Be sure you are using your planning tools (thought map & RACER organizer) and writers checklist as you work

7. When you finish, free write or choose one of the February Writing Prompts

3. When you finish an activity, place an X on the digital checklist to let your teacher know to check your work

   • Go to your Class App and click on Word Study

2. On the right side of slide 10, complete the Picture It activity

   • Insert images from the web to show your understanding of each word
