New Student Enrollment

WELCOME TO WATAUGA COUNTY SCHOOLS! 

Please complete the New Student Enrollment Form. 

Once complete, the school will reach out to you as soon as possible with additional steps needed to complete the enrollment process. 

You will also need to provide the following documents to finalize your students enrollment:

• Your Identification 

• the Student's birth certificate

• Two proofs of Watauga Residency 

• a current, official Immunization Record

• Custody papers, if applicable, for the safety of the child

• North Carolina Health form (Only if student has never attended a North Carolina Public School) 

• Pay $20 fee in order to pick up your student's Chromebook. 

If they are enrolling as a cross-enrolled homeschool student we will also need the following document:

• Copy of the Homeschool Card from the state of North Carolina
