About Waste Warriors Experiential Learning Program

The Waste Warriors Experiential Learning Program (ELP) is a 3 months non-residential community leadership programme. The program brings together individuals from diverse backgrounds who show exceptional intellectual ability and leadership potential, and trains them to become socially committed agents of change. ELP exposes them to a diverse set of subjects and perspectives in the field of waste management.

The aim is to help candidates become well-rounded individuals who are able to think critically from multiple perspectives, communicate effectively and become leaders with a commitment to public service. Through direct community engagement, continuous mentorship, and practical knowledge about solid and plastic waste, candidates will build a better understanding of the challenges and opportunities of Dehradun’s waste management system. Candidates from all disciplines are welcome, who will be mentored into reaching their full potential and will become part of Waste Warriors’ larger ecosystem of next gen youth leaders and change makers, who are committed to paving the way for a cleaner environment for all.
