John Livsey

Mr. Livsey has been the Assistant Principal of Teaching and Learning at Toll Gate High School since 2016. His career in education began in 1985 as an English teacher at Ocean Tides, and then School One. He joined the Warwick Public Schools in 1987 as a teacher at the Warwick Area Career and Technical Center, the Connection Alternative Program, and Warwick Veterans Memorial High School. In 2005, Mr. Livsey became an administrator at Aldrich Junior High School before taking on his current role at Toll Gate. Mr. Livsey is a 1985 graduate of the University of Rhode Island. He earned a graduate degree from Providence College, and has also taken advanced coursework in curriculum and instruction, writing, and special education. He serves as the RI Model Evaluation System point person for the school department, as well as being a member of various committees at Toll Gate and Warwick Public Schools.
