Parent Association of Wandell School

PAWS was formed in 2017. It is comprised of the Wandell School Superintendent, two Board of Education members and a collaborative group of parent volunteers. Our mission is to support enriching programs, school spirit and unity between the school, parents and the community for the benefit of all students. Under the direction of our Superintendent, we will host monthly meetings to provide interesting and important information to parents/guardians. We support school initiatives and encourage new ideas.

As a parent or guardian of a student at Wandell, you are automatically a member of PAWS. We invite and encourage you to get involved! You will help enrich your child’s experience; you will learn what is happening at the school from its administrators, teachers and other parents; and you will meet others who are also working hard to make Wandell the best school that it can be for all of our children.

PAWS Goals

PAWS will host events to help build a sense of community at the school. Every parent and guardian is welcome and encouraged to join us as we work toward this goal.

Attend Monthly Meetings and Events

PAWS will strive to build and nurture the school community by hosting events throughout the school year. These events give parents and guardians the opportunity to get to know the school staff and fellow parents, learn what’s going on at Wandell, and have some fun during the process.

Please consider getting involved in PAWS. We need your help, ideas and enthusiasm. Come to one of the monthly meetings, which are usually the first Wednesday of the month, consider joining one of the committees that focuses on a specific event or volunteer an event.
