to Social AND Emotional Learning

“EDUCATING THE MIND WITHOUT EDUCATING THE HEART IS NO EDUCATION AT ALL.”

~Aristotle

What is Social and Emotional Learning (SEL)?

Social and emotional learning (SEL) is the process through which children and adults understand and manage emotions, set and achieve positive goals, feel and show empathy for others, establish and maintain positive relationships, and make responsible decisions.

Why is SEL important for my child?

Studies show that students with strong social and emotional skills have higher levels of academic achievement, improved behavior, and higher levels of economic earnings later in life.
