I went to Mendocino Farms for the first time I ordered four dishes: The Farm Club, The Turkey Avocado Salsa Verde, The Impossible salad, and the vegan Banh Mi.
The Farm Club is a good choice to get at Mendocino Farms. You have the crispy bacon right when you bite into it. Soon after, you get the turkey and avocado flavor. This dish is full of flavor especially from the pickled red onions, which are made on honey wheat bread.
The plant-based Chorizo (Impossible Taco Salsa) has a lot of flavor and is crispy. The mushrooms add a nice, savory flavor and a salty complexity to the dish. The tomatoes add a juicy, sweetness as well. The Romaine lettuce is fresh and crisp and the Superfood Crunchies add a nice texture. This dish goes well with the vegan chipoltle ranch which is one of the best parts.
For the Turkey Avocodo Salsa Verde, you could taste the flavorful turkey breast and smashed avocado. You also get some unami from the scotia cheese. It is paired with sweet peppers and on the side, there is a Jalepeno salsa verde.
And last but not least, the Vegan Banh Mi Sandwich. This sandwich is phenomenal. The marinated tofu is juicy and savory while the sweet, chili sauce packs a punch. Then you get the taste of the oil and you the taste of pickled vegetables.
