How good actually are Dumpling Hours dishes? Well, were're both here to find out! In this article, I will review multiple of Dumpling Hours' dishes. Lets review our meal:
We have Steamed Vegetable Buns, Crab and Pork Xiao Long Bao*, String Beans Sauteed with Garlic Sauce, and Ginger Scallion Noodles. About seating, seated at a two person table in the back of the restaurant is not as good as outside in the front thought. I would recomend sitting outide especially when the weather is nice. I'm hungry- now for the review!

First up we have the Ginger and Scallion Noodles. Seated at a small two person table at the back of the restaurant the noddles come! Noodles on my plate, I dive in! In my mouth I first tasted a little sweet ginger sauce. Not very much ginger though! Onion mellows out the sweetness. Then mixed in with the warm sweet sauce I get the slightly bitter green onion. At last, the noodles leave my mouth but I'm left with all of that, plus the flavor sesame that leaves me with a beautiful subtle taste to last.
Next, we have one of my all time favorites from all the times I've been here, String Beans Sauteed with Garlic sauce. I bite in with a crunch meaning one thing; perfectly saute string beans. The beans tastes also of soy sauce, a thin layer that adds a nice, pungent acidic taste. The soft taste of garlic comes at the end to complement the soy. This one's always going to be a favorite.
To continue, we have the steamed vegetable buns! The second I bite in the soft, airy bun hits me. It's like the worlds most delicious cloud. The vegetables are not gray, more like a minced salad. I can taste and see carrots, tofu, scallions, mushrooms, and surprisingly, glass noodles! The flavor of the vegetables melds together to create something wonderful. The vegetable was like a salad in a cloud, but the salad has some indescribable flavor that I can't put my finger on. This one is a new favorite.
To conclude, we have the Crab and Pork xiao long bao. Although the skin braked in the steamer basket on some of the dumplings, the fillings were absolutely delicious. The moment my tongue touched the dumpling I tasted the crab. Adding the complementary soy/rice wine vinegar sauce adds a nice kick to it as well. Once I actually bit into the dumpling and I got hit by the creamy pork soup that had the pork and soup meld together to create a perfect combination. Then at last, the real pork comes. This dish has a perfect balance of all the flavors and is my top favorite for now!
