"The Veranda strikes gold with Crepe La Fontaine. A place to get a delicious crepe at a good reasonable price. Also a nice place to see how crepe are being made. This place has sweet and savory crepe. You can have it for lunch/dinner and dessert. I love crepe. This will be the place that I will come to when I crave for a crepe. It is sad that Popbar is nearby and I love their place. Here what I will do for Crepe La Fontaine...eat with them first before going anywhere else. I shall return for a delicious crepe when I am in The Veranda"

"This place is such a gem to my area. I have eaten there twice now. It gets better each time. The first time i had the gai gra prow, it was flavorful and comforting. Today, we had the buttermilk pancakes, chicken and waffles, and the trio omelet. We all enjoyed everything. There was a generous amount of fruit (not the usual one strawberry) on my pancakes which was nice and tge pancakes were light fluffy and a bit crispy on the edges."

"My family and I, hands down, received the most genuine and attentive costumer service in this restaurant. Our server was Gloria, she was so charismatic and full of energy which definitely made us feel comfortable and welcomed. If you ever get the chance to go be sure to ask to be seated in her section! The food was a hit as well! The food was served in a timely manner and everything was delicious. We will be coming back more frequently. :)"

"Three words....
SWEET CREAM PANCAKES!
Always fast and great service. Great prices (especially when you see the massive amount laid in front of you as if an offering to the Gods). Well, maybe that description goes a little too far, but dang....great prices, huge portions and great service! One thing though, I do find it a little gross to have the eggs piled on top of my pancakes."

All dishes are outstanding. It never fails to be outstanding every time you visited. We try to get there after lunch time because it is so busy and parking is limited but it's worth the wait.
Let's get to waffles, one of the most important breakfasts to yet exist.
It's a nice rated place that's on the same street as Crepes Ooh La La.

Been wanting to stop by this place for some time, their coffee, smoothies and toast look amazing. Went there on Saturday during lunch, pretty busy, lots of people enjoying the day and beautiful weather. Ended up ordering a little bit of everything to try and take it with us. My favourite was the Takiz toast, and the crushes spicy chilli was so so good! The churro waffles with a big hit too. I also got the golden milk latte, which and great spices. The staff was very nice and friendly.
Since we already went over this one, we will show you some waffle reviews.

I was here on Sunday and it was my first especially I was around the area and was hungry for breakfast. I came across Buttercup and oh my goodness, I ordered their Belgian Waffles with sunny side eggs and bacon, I could not complain at all.. IT WAS SO FREAKIN DELICIOUS. I would definitely come back here whenever I'm in town. I can't wait to try more of the menu soon. Thank you Buttercup!

I LOVE this place for breakfast in the area. I unfortunately can't really speak to any of their other food but honestly breakfast may be the best thing to happen to your day.
I grew up in Alamo but never fully appreciated this restaurant until I started coming here on my trips to visit my parents. They have a HUGE breakfast menu which includes everything yummy and fatty like omelettes, biscuits, pancakes, waffles, breakfast meats. And they also usually have interesting choices. this past holiday season they had egg nog french toast, Irish Benedict and chicken and waffles off menu. There's something amazing called a "Cinniscuit". it's basically a buttermilk biscuit but with cinnamon and sugar and frosting all over like a Cinnabon. I don't care what you call it but it was amazing.
Coming in this place is like walking into your grandma's house (if she owned a large capacity dining establishment) and I always love the service and ambiance. Since I live in LA i'm ALWAYS used to waiting in lines for breakfast and so far I've been seated immediately every time! Though don't get me wrong this place still gets busy.
Now since we've gone over all the main breakfasts we think you should check one of the places out. Here are the best places to go to in each breakfast category, based on price, and location.
