This section of the Newspaper is dedicated to helping people understand more about this wonderful community. Also just to remind people that at WCI, we have the GSA club, which was created for the LGBTQ+ community on Fridays during both lunches!

The L in LGBTQ+ is for Lesbian.
Being lesbian is when a non-male is in love with anothing non-males. Mainly females fall under this category, but also Non-binary people can also be considere lesbian.

The G in LGBTQ+ is for Gay.
Being gay is when two people of the same gender love each other. Mainly men identify as gay, but some women do as well.
The B in LGBTQ+ is for Bisexual.
Being bisexual is when a person is in love with multiple genders, not just one. (eg. being in love with both female, males, and Non- binary people)
T is for Transgender.
Being transgender is when a person doesn't identify with the gender they were born with and changes to the gender they actually feel on the inside. For example, a person who was born a female but changes to a male.
LGBTQ+ pride flag (There is no queer/questioning flag)
Q is for Queer/Questioning.
Being Queer is when a person's sexuality and/or gender is complicated and can change over time. Some people can identify as any other letter of LGBTQ+ and identify as queer.
Questioning is for people questioning their sexuality or gender, but know for a fact that they aren't straight.
I is for Intersex.
Being Intersex is when a person's body or sexual anatomy does not fit with the female or male gender.

Agender
A is for Asexual, Aromantic, Allies, Abrosexual, and Agender.
Being asexual is when you don't want to experience sexual attraction.
Being aromantic is when you experience little to no attraction to others.
An ally is a person who is not a part of the LGBTQ+ but supports the community.
Abrosexual means that a person's sexuality or romantic attraction changes throughout their life.
Agender people are genderless or don't identify with any gender.

P is for Pansexual and Polysexual.
Being pansexual means that you are in love with the person's personality and not the gender.
Polysexual means that you are together with more than one person at a time.
