The NBA playoffs are going to be insane. At least 4 teams in each conference have a shot to winning the title, that means that 8 teams have a shot at winning it all. Isn't that insane? This is probably the first time in a long time that a lot of teams have a chance. Let's take a look at the teams and the match ups that they will have in the playoffs (this is for the top 6 teams in each conference).

Who do you think will win the NBA Finals?

The Golden State Warriors just managed to break their losing streak (of 4 games) by winning 106 to 103 against the Sacramento Kings. Although the Warriors may be happy they won, people wonder, "Will the Warriors even make the playoffs with how they're making it?"
First of all, the Warriors' offense is not the problem. They rank 4th in points made per game and 4th in assists per game. It's the defense that's the problem. Last season, they were second in the league in defense just behind the Boston Celtics. But in the offseason, they traded away Gary Payton ll to the Portland Trail Blazers. The Young Glove was a great defender when it came to perimeter defense and steals. Can he be the reason why their defense dropped from 2nd in the league in 2021 to 28th in 2022?
No. We dropped low because we lost a guy named Mike Brown. Mike Brown was our leading defensive coordinator and he knew how to defend well during pick-and-roll situations and clutch shots in the final minutes of the game. He got traded to Sacramento in the offseason of the summer and has pulled them together offensively and defensively.

You could also say that defensive performance lacks because of the people on the bench. Young guys like Kuminga, Moody, and Wiseman don't really know how to play decent defense.
I personally believe that the Warriors may have a couple of losing streaks here and there, but in the end, they will be the 2nd or 3rd seed in the west.
The Warriors have come off two preseason games against the Washington Wizards and have had some adventures. With one day to relax in Tokyo, Andrew Wiggins (#22) and Jordan Poole (#3) went around exploring the city. Poole then came upon an animal café, and he and Wiggins went inside.
Animal cafes are quite popular in Japan. Their animals range from dogs and cats to snakes and capybaras. Guests can enjoy the cafe's delicacies while the animals mill around the guest's feet or the guest's lap or hands.
Upon entering the café, Poole and Wiggins sat at a bench occupied by four hedgehogs. Poole, who is a strong animal lover, fell in love with the hedgehogs the moment he saw them, stroking them constantly and hugging them.
Andrew Wiggins on the other hand looked almost scared as he picked up a hedgehog. After a couple of seconds, he almost dropped the poor thing as he swore it had looked him in the eye. However, Poole would not let Wiggins leave the café until he had picked up the hedgehog for more than five seconds. After that drama, Wiggins proclaimed he was probably a dog person, and that they should move on.
Let's admit it, the 49ers are great. They have the best record in NFC West and have recently signed RB Christian McCaffrey and their offense is stacked. They have Jimmy Garoppolo who has shown a massive improvement from last season. The 49ers GM was inches to trading him in the offseason due to a bad performance in the conference finals. Then they have George Kittle and Deebo Samuel, who both are playing at a Pro Bowl level.
They defeated the reigning Super Bowl champs Los Angeles Rams and also the Saints, Cardinals, and Panthers. They have defeated many strong teams and are on their way to a Super Bowl.

The 49ers, coming off Trey Lance's injury and Jimmy Garopollo's return, announced that Trey Lance is ruled out until the 2023 season due to ankle surgeries. Meanwhile, the 49ers have a record of 2-2 after winning against the Denver Broncos in a close game and winning against the Los Angles Rams, however, the 49ers lost against the Chicago Bears and the Seattle Seahawks.

Kyrie Irving to Dallas trade: What could it mean for the Warriors and Kevin Durant.
Written by Seabass
Kyrie Irving, an 8x All Star, has been reportedly traded for Spencer Dwiddle, Dorian Finney-Smith, and 3 picks in upcoming drafts. What will this mean for the Warriors, and most importantly, Kevin Durant?
There is no possible way that Kevin Durant will not demand a trade--it's inevitable. The Nets organization has already squandered away James Harden for Ben Simmons, a guy who is averaging 6.9 points and cannot make a 3 pointer. Now Kyrie Irving for Spencer Dwiddie? What are they thinking, trading a 8x all star to Dallas to pair up with Luka Dončić, for a guy who has not achieved any NBA awards? Kevin Durant cannot stand to be on a team that will miss the playoffs . He wants to win. We already saw that in the 2022-2023 off-season, where Durant requested a trade, as did Irving. He will be traded in the next week or so.
What does this mean for the Warriors? Well, in my opinion, Dallas might have squandered away key players that they should've maintained. Luka is Luka, Kyrie is Kyrie, but what about the bench? The only time Dallas is winning games is if their bench performs well. The Warriors will definitely win the bench battle if they meet in the playoffs. It would probably lead to a 4-2 series win for the Warriors. However, if Dallas is able to make the right moves in the 2023-2024, they could be a legit contender for the championship.
