Mr. Skinner English II PAP
I started teaching in the fall of 2018 after deciding to leave the oil industry, I worked for a few years as a volunteer youth pastor for a small church in cypress where I gained my love for teaching students. There is nothing that I enjoy more than working with young people to help them learn and grow into young men and women who are ready to take on the world. I am highly student centered and make it a priority to build solid working relationships with my students every year. My previous students all know that just because you leave my class does not mean that I stop caring about their growth and future.
I received my private pilot license during my senior year of high school
I can play the piano, but only chords, I still cannot read music
I sometimes participate in amateur car racing - either driving or crew chief
I have a huge passion for photography, preferably film and black and white
I love both food and cooking
I am a true polymath/renaissance man who loves discussing and learning about biology, science, maths, literature, philosophy, theology, mechanics, machining, welding, technology, electronics, music, music theory, theatre, and history.
I am fascinated about learning as much as I can about other cultures
