Chocolate is a thing that 81% of Americans eat and love. What’s the difference between milk and dark chocolate? The main difference between dark and milk chocolate is that dark chocolate does not have any added milk solids. Generally, dark chocolate contains a higher amount of cocoa. This contributes to dark chocolate’s rich, deeper chocolate flavor. It is also much more bitter than milk chocolate, allowing it to pair with different flavors more easily.
Milk chocolate, unlike dark chocolate, is made with milk. Most milk chocolate is made from powdered, liquid, or condensed milk. Milk chocolate is generally very smooth and creamy. It doesn’t have the same dry texture as much dark chocolate has due to the milk adding elasticity. Milk chocolate is known for its ability to be paired with almost any other sweet or savory flavor.

Personally, I like milk chocolate more than dark chocolate. But I do like both. I absolutely love chocolate chip pancakes and I prefer dark chocolate chips in them to milk chocolate. On the other hand, I like milk chocolate candy bars better than dark chocolate candy bars.
