Peanut Butter, Butterscotch, and Chocolate Rice Krispy Treats

Ingredients / Bakeware Needed:

  • 2 cups of butterscotch chips

  • 1 cup of peanut butter

  • 6 cups of Rice Krispies cereal

  • 1-2 cups of chocolate chips


*For a double batch, double the ingredients


  • For thinner ones use a 9 by 13 inch pan and for thicker ones use an 8 by 8 inch pan

  • Use a very large bowl for the Rice Krispy peanut butter butterscotch part

  • Use medium glass bowls to melt the chocolate chips and butterscotch chips. You can also use them to heat up the peanut butter.


Steps:

Step 1: Melt butterscotch chips and peanut butter together.

Step 2: Pour over Rice Krispies and stir to coat.

Step 3: Press ½ of the Rice Krispies into an 8x8 pan.

Step 4: Melt chocolate and pour it into the pan.

Step 5: Top with remaining Rice Krispies mixture.

Step 6: Let sit, cool, and then they are ready to eat!
