Mario Maker 2 Tips
by Marc Rossin
Hello, to all Mario Maker 2 fans! My name is Marc and today I am going to teach you how to make a “Did you touch a coin?” detector. I learned this from a YouTuber called Ceave Gaming, but I modified it a touch. Here it is how it works:
Make a closed-off room that is one block smaller on both top and bottom of a Bullet Bill blaster. The length of the room does not matter. Then make the floor and the ceiling one-way doors facing down. Put a semi-solid platform on the bottom of the one-way door. Then put a ceiling of actual blocks two blocks higher than the one-way door.
Next force Mario to run by having a spiny shell be launched at him, and put Bullet Bills where the coins are. Place a block at the bottom, and put a thwomp over a p-switch next to the door that takes you to the detection device. Voilà, you made a ‘Did you touch a coin?” detector! See you later.
