What is your favorite book? Why?
My favorite book is always changing, but right now it's Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard. It's about a world where people have red blood or silver blood. People with silver blood have special abilities.
Where did you go to college?
I went to The College of New Jersey for both my undergraduate and Masters.
What made you want to be a teacher?
I've always enjoyed working with kids. When I was in high school I tutored a kindergartner and coached a junior field hockey team. I've also always loved to read. It wasn't until I was reading Stephen King's memoir though that I realized I would love teaching.
What's your favorite thing about WIS?
My favorite thing about WIS is all the different opportunities for students. There are so many clubs and electives.
What's your favorite animal? Why?
My favorite animal is a cheetah. I researched them when I was in sixth grade and have liked them ever since.
What is your favorite thing to do outside of school?
To spend time with my family and friends. I have two sisters. We didn't always get along, but now that we're older we're very close!
