It's-a-me Marc. The new party game Super Mario Party for the Nintendo Switch is a game everyone wants, but it might be overrated or underrated. Let's find out!
The controls involve one joycon per person, no other way of playing. You can swing the joycon to do a “high five” to feel closer to your party mates. There are also motion controls for mini games like climbing up a pole or riding a tricycle or striking a pose.
The game modes are Mario Party, Team Party, Raft Survival, Dance Party, Online Tournament, and Minigame Mode. Mario Party is the original mode, get stars and coins to win. Team Party is Mario Party, but with teams of two, the more the merrier. Raft Survival includes short minigames and everyone is on the same team as they try to survive. In Dance Party mode you want to pose with the rhythm. Online Tournament mode includes 5 mini-games that you play online with other people across the globe. Finally, Mini Game mode or whatever it is called, don’t judge me, is unlocked by unlocking all minigames which I have not done yet so it is a surprise for the both of us.
And finally, the most important part, the dice and items. Each character has a normal dice block and a special block, you can get more by finding an ally who might help you on your ways if they do not mess you up. There is a Coinado that steals coins, mushrooms that boost or lessen your roll, and many, many, more.
So what do you think the Super Mario party is: really good or really awful? I personally think it is okay, but the choice is yours.
