Matt King is in his seventh season as the head coach of the Ridgeland Panther basketball team. Coach King is a graduate of Chattanooga Christian. He attended the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga where he obtained a degree in Secondary Education - History. He completed his E.D.S in Educational Leadership at Kennesaw State University.

Coach King began his coaching career at Chattanooga Arts and Sciences in 1998, as an assistant boys and girls head coach, where he spent four years. He coached football, boys basketball, and soccer at Rossville Middle School from 2002-2006, before moving over to the high school where he spent 8 years coaching the girls team. Coach King currently serves as Assistant Principal at Rossville Elementary. Prior to this position he served as a teacher of History and Government at RHS from 2006-2015.

Matt and his wife Jamie live on Signal Mountain with their two children, John and Caroline.

Ryan Pipes currently serves as an assistant coach for the Ridgeland Panther basketball team. Coach Pipes is a Ringgold High School graduate where he participated in basketball. After high school, he attended the University of Georgia where he received degrees in both History and Social Studies Education. Additionally, Coach Pipes has a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Valdosta State University.

Coach Pipes is in his 12th year of coaching and teaching at RHS. Coach Pipes currently also serves as Assistant Athletic Director and Head Golf Coach at Ridgeland. Coach Pipes teaches Health and PE at Ridgeland. He is married to his wife Rebekah and has two sons: Harrison and Carter.
