Meet the Teacher

Hi there! My name is Ms. Matkowski, but you can call me Ms. M! I am thrilled to begin another year with the WMA community. I have experience teaching PreK through 6th grade, but 3rd grade is my favorite! I completed my undergrad at West Chester University where I received my certification in elementary education with a minor in Literacy. I am currently working toward my Masters in Education with a Reading Specialist certification at SJU!

Each day, I feel very lucky to watch my students grow and succeed. In addition to teaching - I enjoy reading, coaching, and cheering on our Philly sports teams! We have a lot of exciting experiences to look forward to this year. Please feel free to contact me anytime!
