University Entrance

Introduction

University Entrance (UE) is the minimum requirement students need to go to a New Zealand university under the age of 20.

To qualify for UE you will need:

• NCEA Level 3 as well as:

  • 14 credits in THREE approved subjects at Level 3 (see list below)

  • Literacy - 10 credits at Level 2 or above, made up of:

5 credits in reading

5 credits in writing

• • Numeracy - the Level 1 10 numeracy credit co requisite
