NCEA Level 2 Building Construction & Allied Trades
Introduction
This course is designed for students who have a good level of craftsmanship and an ability or desire to work independently to produce quality items of indoor and outdoor furniture. It covers:
implementing advanced procedures to make specific items of outdoor furniture
applying a basic level of project planning and management
constructing projects such as a folding BBQ table, adirondack chair, three piece outdoor set, outdoor rectangular table, home/garage wood workbench, non-consent Building.
All projects require tutor and student discussion around design, purpose and costs.
