NCEA Level 3 Digital Technology
NCEA Level 3 Digital Technology
The Year 13 Digital Technology course requires students to undertake technological practice to create “fit for purpose” digital media outcomes. It is similar to the year 12 course, however, students will learn how to use more complex techniques and processes in their chosen area. As part of this, students plan, develop, test and evaluate prototypes and measure these against the requirements of a brief.
Students are encouraged to come up with their own idea as well as choose their own digital media type to create their outcome. This will involve them developing complex skills in whatever area of Digital Technology they choose to work with. This could include web design html/css/javascript, print graphics, game development, animation, 3D modelling and much more.
This subject is UE Endorsed.
