University Connect

Introduction

University Connect courses offer first year distance university papers to Year 13 students who have achieved a merit/excellence endorsement at NCEA Level 2 as well as the University Entrance Literacy and Numeracy requirement. They offer an introduction to university level academic work, whilst also enjoying the support of Waitara High School and can cross credit into future degree options.

Entry into these papers is at the discretion of the Deputy Principal - Learning and course fees are paid for by Waitara High School.

We can access university papers through the three universities linked in the buttons below. When looking at the paper offerings, be sure to look at distance / extramural papers - these are ones that are studied online.

Note: at the time of options selections for Waitara High School, the universities may not have updated their information but the current year's information is a good indication of what will be on offer.
