Introduction

Foundation science incorporates Science concepts from the living world, material world,  physical world, planet Earth and beyond of the NZ Curriculum and the Nature of Science.  These combine to cover the basic scientific concepts and skills needed to understand Science in our lives and our local community.

• Introduction to Science - understanding basic Science skills and working in the lab safely

• Particles & Matter - Intro to Chemistry

• Investigating in Science - Science Fair 

• Energy & sport - Intro to physics

• Kaitiakitanga - Intro to Biology - Rotokare field trip
