NCEA Level 2 Physics

Introduction

Students will complete a programme of Science specifically related to the study of Physics in a variety of contexts. Physics is the Science of the nature of matter, and how the universe works at an atomic level. Mathematical calculations will be applied in context, as well as the understanding of the background Physics theory, such as Newton’s Laws of Motion. The study of Physics is a common entry requirement for careers such as Professional Engineering, Architecture, Health Sciences, Surveying, Electronics, Electrical and Appliance servicing.
