NCEA Level 3 Biology
This course covers a broad range of biological and scientific topics to provide students with an understanding of the living world around us. There are practical investigations in Biology, understanding systems of the human body, socio-scientific issue debates, evolutionary patterns, and behaviours and responses of plants and animals. Students can also work towards endorsement in Biology with Merit or Excellence.

Animal & Plant Behaviour and Responses (External)
Practical Investigation - Why do animals behave the way they do?
This subject offers Literacy & Numeracy credits and is UE endorsed.

Total - 15-19
Level 3 Biology is a UE approved subject and can lead to a wide variety of tertiary courses, as well as practical and hands on jobs.
Minimum of 12 NCEA Level 2 Science credits, preferably Level 2 Biology.
No specific equipment is required.
