Introduction
This option is for students interested in agriculture, horticulture, farming, and growing kai sustainably. Students will engage in both theory learning about horticulture and agriculture as well as hands-on practical activities taking advantage of our school farm and maara.

Growing kai in our maara

Animal health and welfare
Climate impacts on the agriculture/horticulture industry

This is an introductory taster course for students who are interested in the primary industry of Agriculture & Horticulture. This could lead to students selecting Level 1 Ag/Hort in the future.
