NCEA Level 3 Mathematics with Statistics

Introduction

In a range of meaningful contexts, students will be engaged in thinking mathematically and statistically. They will solve problems and model solutions that require use of a wide variety of mathematical skills and processes. Making inferences from surveys and experiments, seeking explanations and making predictions, evaluating statistically based reports, investigating situations that involve elements of chance; are examples of the work which will be covered throughout this course. This course leads directly into university studies.
