Level 3 Outdoor Education
Introduction
This course is designed for students who are interested in developing their leadership and group management skills, or for a pathway into a career in outdoor recreation leadership or sport. Students will be challenged to plan and carry out two multi-day journeys; ‘Horonuku me Horowai - To feel the Land and Water’, which will encompass all of their learning so far in Outdoor Education. They will also be given opportunities to lead 11OUTD students in a range of experiences. This course has a mixture of University entrance and unit standard assessments.
