Dear Kindergarten Families,
We hope everyone is doing well! Our kindergarten team is continuing working together on various ways to provide enrichment activities for our students to do at home. Please continue to check your email every Sunday as teachers will still send weekly emails to communicate updates on new activities, important information, and do check-ins. We understand that the news constantly changes as time progresses, so for the week of March 30th - April 3rd, we would like you to view the following list (below) and complete the enrichment activities. We want to provide families with as much flexibility as possible so we did not create a specific due date or timeline for completion.
We are looking at using Seesaw to upload further enrichment activities, etc. and we need your help. We would like you to use this week to help your child complete a practice home activity.
Our Special Subjects (Hawaiian, Music, Art, P.E.) Teachers will be in touch with families as well. They created a newsletter for families and will continue to communicate with you. Attached is their newsletter along with a Bingo board they created of fun activities for the children to work on.
List of enrichment activities to do (We are providing these enrichment activities for students to practice at home. Again, it is not required to be completed):
Seesaw Practice (Please look out for a second email to be received today with detailed information)
Practice logging on using your special text code.
Upload a photo or picture/drawing, say a little caption using the microphone on Seesaw, and share it with your teacher by Thursday, April 2nd.
Continue working on the Spring Packet (packet that was sent home before Spring break).
From Special Subjects Teachers: Work on Kindergarten Specials Bingo
Thank you for your patience as we continue to work together during this challenging time.
Sincerely,
Grade K Teachers
P.S. Please tell the kiddos that I am thinking of them always! I hope to see them soon!
