Aloha Families,
Videos and Live Meet sessions are provided by our teachers for studentsʻ educational use ONLY. They are posted in closed platforms (Seesaw, Google Classroom, Unlisted Youtube sites, etc.) and are not meant to be shared beyond the classroom.
Do NOT screen capture and/or post these instructional videos or other teacher-created media on any social media sites. They should not be shared via email or through any analog means. If you have already done so, please remove them from your sites.
We advocate strongly for the protection of our studentsʻ privacy, and do the same for our teachers.
Sincerely,
Waiʻalae Administration Team
Aloha Parents,
Hope that you and your loved ones are all healthy and in good spirits, and that the end of this first week of distance learning has been smooth.
As this journey is a new one for most of the Wai’alae community, including our faculty and staff, our Administration will be hosting a parent talk story session via Zoom tomorrow (Friday April 3rd) at 5:00pm.
The purpose of this talk story is to allow school administrators to hear from families to get a sense of how things are going, e.g. what support might be needed, challenges that you have been facing in getting your child/your family into the distance learning mode. And, of course, if you’ve had any successes, we want to celebrate those!
If you wish to participate, you will need to provide us with a reply so that our session host can allow you to enter the talk story session on Zoom. To join us, please fill out this Google Form. An email will be sent to you with the Zoom meeting information. You will not need to register for a Zoom account to join in.
There’s a participant limit and if the demand is higher than we can accommodate we will schedule another session. We are also planning to hold future sessions that are more targeted to topics that families are interested in.
Send my aloha to your children and hope to see you soon,
John Constantinou
