Cara is married to VVS alum, David LaVine ('96) and they have one son, Tyler. They currently reside in Rochester, after spending many years in the Syracuse area. Cara was a School Counselor at Cazenovia High School for eight years before moving to Rochester. She is currently an Academic Advisor at Rochester Institute of Technology.
