Stringers are a unique AOE-based class, containing chargeable bow and arrow-type weapons. Each stringer shoots 3 or more shots, depending on which one you use. To fire, hold down Zr to charge up the gun, and then fire arrows that explode after hitting the ground (one stringer doesn't have this). All stringers have two levels of charge. If you fully charge the first charge, you get the explosive shots. If you fully charge it, it makes the shots very close together (This doesn't apply to Wellstring).
Tri-stringer is essentially a charger that is better at covering turf but worse at killing. This stringer has an average charge time, taking about 1 second to draw fully. Whenever you shoot a halfway-charged shot, arrowheads shoot out of it and explode after a bit. Its kit is toxic mist and killer wail, which are both great at trapping people and getting them in a tough situation to get out of. Essentially, this weapon likes to torture people. Use your kit to get quicker splats, and be a successful anchor to your team. This weapon should always focus on getting its team to the objective, by assisting in kills and defending.

The Inkline Tri-Stringer has a good kit and has Sprinkler and Super Chump. I love this weapon and I recommend trying it out. Try to play support with this weapon, and stress people out with spamshots and Super Chumps, all the while covering turf with a sprinkler. Using a sprinkler to make your position safe is key, so make sure to set up sprinklers to cover turf. You can also combo off of your chumps damage to get more kills, or you can use it to flood out enemies out of key areas, so you can leave them out in the open, right where you can deal with them.

The REEF-LUX is a rather interesting weapon, as it is like a normal stringer, but with way better turf covering, a very fast charge, but no exploding arrowheads. It fires out ink. Its kit has Curling Bomb and Tenta Missles which I love. It allows for some funny gameplay that requires skill. Once you master the curling bomb, then you can go crazy with this thing. Anyways, this weapon is amazing at support and is arguably one of the best support weapons, and is the best stringer in the game currently. It is also the best stringer and is also the only stringer that can do a charge hold and can also charge the same speed in the air like squiffer. Use this weapon to lead pushes and gain dominance over the other team with a mixed combination with your kit.

This weapon is horrible. Its kit is Splash Wall and Reefslider which do absolutely nothing for it. I guess Reefslider is a good last resort when you are about to die, but it still sucks. Please, don't play this weapon online. You're torturing your team. You could use Splash Wall and pull out a Reefslider as a safe kill option if you wanted to. This weapon is the worst because it refers to the weapon as an easy-to-kill anchor with a disadvantage, which is quite the opposite of how the weapon plays.

Wellstring is a cool addition to the stringer class. This stringer has less range than a tri-stringer but this time it shoots out five shots. Its ink efficiency is pretty normal, but its turf output is really good. Wellstrings kit is autobomb and ultra stamp, which is a little weird but it works decently well. Wellstring also has a strange feature where whenever you start charging it, its shots close in, and then open back up when completely charged. Wellstring is pretty good at support and being an anchor, so it is a very reliable weapon. Its aoe spam is extremely hard to deal with, so you just need to spam for most of the game.

Custom wellstring is good if you want to get more useful utility out of your subs and special. Custom wellstrings kit is point sensor and wave breaker, so its whole kit is supposed to be used for location based purposes. This can be great for the weapon if used in the right hands.
