Splatlings are a semi-supportive semi-aggressive weapon type, that are great at offense and guarding chokepoints. Hold ZR, and you will slowly charge up the splatling. Let go, and your weapon will start rapidly firing a barrage of shots for a set amount of time. Note that you do not have to fully charge the Splatling for it to fire, but the more you charge, the more ink you use and the longer you fire. Splatlings are based on miniguns, and function similarly, in the way of mowing down the entire team. They typically have a ridiculous fire speed, but cost lots of ink and have to charge first. Some Splatlings can do a mid-fire charge, which allows you to charge the weapon before you finish firing, allowing you to fire for a longer time. These weapons may look simple on the surface, but each one can take much skill to succeed.

Mini splatling is a lightweight weapon, with surprisingly fast mobility and charge speed. Its kit also reflects this, all being quick yet powerful. Its kit is burst bomb and ultra stamp, a great kit overall. It's a semi-aggressive splatling, like most of them. It's also great at defense and support and is even good at unintentional close-up combat. A great splatling for people who like fast weapons.

Zink mini splatling is essentially the same as normal mini splatling but with toxic mist and big bubbler. When this weapon gets going, it has a lot of momentum. It's great for defense since it has toxic mist and big bubbler to slow them down and help your team. Overall, this is a very underrated weapon.

Heavy splatting is a semi-aggressive long-ranged weapon. It's good at killing, but its kit is good at covering turf. This allows for a very even kit and a great mid-to-back-line supportive weapon to have for your team. I highly recommend this weapon. It also has sprinkler and wave breaker which are good at holding its backline position in place.

Heavy splatling deco is an interesting weapon with a pretty cool kit. It's got point sensor and Kraken which go pretty well on a splatling. It makes it a bit worse but its definitely is fun to play.

Hydra splatling is one of the best supportive anchor weapons in the game. The play style of this weapon is to get high ground in the back of your team, and camp there. This weapons painting capabilities are amazing along with its sniper-like range and auto bomb to swwe out opponents from afar. These make charging up booyah bombs very quick and easy meaning you can start a huge push with it's speacial. One of its only down sides is its charge time. It quite a while to charge up but when you release the trigger, it fires for so long.

Custom Hydra Splatling is... a little weird. Its kit was clearly designed to just fill up the slots of subs and specials that aren't used much. Its kit is ink mine and splattercolor screen, so at least it works okay with it. Ink mine helps secure your position as an anchor, and screen corners people and blocks off exits, making it even harder to deal with the weapon. Sure, the kit may not be the greatest, but it does complement the weapon nicely

Ballpoint Splatling is a really good weapon. This splatling has a unique gimmick, and it adds a lot to the weapon. After fully charging the weapon, you hear a clicking sound, and then your weapon loses a lot of range but gains a lot of fire rate and has a wider widespread, allowing for lots of turf. After about a second or two of firing in this mode, you click back into the long-ranged firing mode, where you have good accuracy and range, but a slow fire rate. This weapons kit is really good and has Fizzy Bomb and Inkjet. Use these tools to assist your team, and add chaos to the battlefield.

Ballpoint Splatling Nouveau is just okay. Its kit is Ink Mine and Ink Vac, both being not the greatest subs and specials. This weapon is pretty good at helping the team move and keeping them safe. If I were to give a tip for this weapon, it would be to try to stay with a teammate all game and defend them, and have them do most of the work.

Nautilus is a super good splatling with tons of mobility options. It has the ability to charge while firing, and can also swim in the ink while holding a charge. It's kit is just meh, with point sensor and ink storm which can be used for support or to be aggressive in some way. It's charge time is pretty good, especially for how long it fires.

Naut 79 is really good, and has a way better kit than 47. It has suction bomb and triple splashdown, which can actually get kills, cover turf, and defend important areas. It can't track obviously, but it's still good.

Heavy edit is a very supportive splatling, with decent charge time and mobility. Its kit is very focused on getting your team up and going, and rushing alongside them. Its kit has curling bomb and tacticooler, both great at improving mobility. Heavy splatling is also very good at killing, but it doesn't fire for that long compared to most splatlings, so watch out for that.

Heavy Edit Splatling Nouveau has such a good kit that its somewhat overpowered. This splatling is arguably the best splatling in the game. It's kit is splat bomb and crab tank which is just bafflingly good. Splat bomb is amazing at creating even more chaos that this weapon brings, making it a menace on the battlefield. Because of its somewhat supportive nature, it can get a few crab tanks usually. Remember to use it when your team has taken mid, and get as many kills as you can during the duration of your crab tank.
