Sloshers are spread out when it comes to play style. Some are good at covering turf but can't kill, and others are great at killing but can't cover turf. Some are in between. To use a slosher, press ZR to have your character slosh a wave of ink forwards, and then fall to the ground. Using the falloff shots, you can get kills very quickly at good spots. Sloshers are great at being backlines or poking, and excel at disturbing enemies. Mainly, sloshers are good at holding down a point or clearing an area of the enemy team. It's almost essential to have a slosher on a team, due to how well they flow with most other weapons. Sloshers don't need too much support (unless you're backlines) due to the funky hitbox of Sloshers passing through enemies. All Sloshers can hit over walls and kill people before they can get within range to kill.
I love this weapon a lot. It's slow, but great at killing, and it's also not that bad at turf covering. It has splat bomb and triple inkstrike, which have some good usage to the slosher. Splat bomb is great at comboing into another hit, or finding those sneaky squids who hide in the ink. Triple inkstrike is the sloshers main way of covering turf, and maybe even sneaking in a kill. This weapon two shots, and when you use it from above, it will still two shots most of the time. A good way to play this is to get above your opponent and get a ton of splats. Hitting over walls is this weapon's specialty, but when you aren't protected, then you usually aren't going to get out safely.

Same thing as the slosher, but it has Angle Shooter and Zipcaster. This kit kinda sucks, but it still can get some usage. Comboing off of an Angle Shooter used right after a direct hit will kill, making for a deadly two-shot. Zipcaster is great at getting in people's faces and killing them, perfect for this slosher. be sure to use plenty of Zipcasters, and assault your enemy with attacks that are hard to dodge.

Tri-Slosher is essentially a more wide-ranged faster slosher, that is even better at covering turf. It has toxic mist and inkjet, both good for getting cheap kills. Toxic mist can be thrown at a fast weapon trying to sneak away, likely dualies. Once you have caught them in the mist, they will be slowed down and drained of their ink. After this, the kill will be easier than ever. Inkjet, on the other hand, requires skill to get any usage out of, but once you have mastered it, you are a force to be reckoned with. But overall, works well on the Tri-Slosher.

I love this slosher, its play style is satisfying and I love it. It is good at covering turf and is very much a support weapon. It has Fizzy Bomb and Tacticooler which both are used for support. But don't get me wrong, this weapon is good at killing. To play this weapon, go for any kills you can see, then cover turf, push into the enemy base, and then power up your teammates with the Tacticooler.

This slosher is a strong one with a lot of range but lacks in speed. When firing, it shoots out a spinning ball of ink and takes a bit of aim to land. The hitbox on this shot is pretty big, but it's a 3 shot if you don't land any directs. Because of its big hitboxes and reliable kill power, it can be very hard to deal with, and it is a pretty big target, making it one of the best skirmishing weapons in Splatoon. It's terrible at a lot of things including turf covering, but it still has fizzy bomb which is not bad at doing so. This weapon is mainly focused on annoying people and a bit of turf covering, and with booyah bomb adds to both of those. To successfully play this weapon, get to a small wall and get kills to overwhelm the opposing team.

Sloshing machine neo is a more accuracy based weapon, and being aggressive is your main goal. It has point sensor and trizooka, both are good at killing if you know how to aim. Use point sensor to reveal your enemy's location and make your team kill him.

Bloblobber is a very strange slosher, and by that I mean it's more like a nozzlenose than it is a slosher. When sloshing, you fire out 4 bubbles that act like bullets. It takes 4 bubbles to kill, which can be hard at times, but don't worry, I have a solution. In a lot of maps, there are corners or walls. Taking advantage of these walls by bouncing bubbles off them is a useful tactic that can surprise enemies and get easy kills. Bloblobber isn't great at turf covering, but its sub and special make up for that. It has Sprinkler and Ink Storm, which rounds out the weapon nicely.

Bloblobber deco is the same but it has angle shooter and kraken royale, which both are good on the weapon and make it more aggressive than the vanilla bloblobber.

Explosher is a slow but strong weapon that focuses on getting high ground and sniping your opponents down with explosive shots. It usually takes about 3 hits to kill with the Explosher, so you have to play mostly aggressively to get those kills. It has Point Sensor and Ink Storm which are very mild, and don't do much. When using this weapon, try not to engage in close-quarters combat, try to be a backline weapon and stay behind.

The kit on custom explosher is really good, and makes a lot more sense on a heavy backlines weapon. It has splash wall, which covers you as you fire shots, and makes you safe to attack from above. It also has triple splashdown, which is really only good as a panic option, but it can still be useful. This kit is way more focused on keeping the explosher safe, which works well.

Dread wringer is quite unique. It takes quite a bit of skill to use it effectively. The dread wringer flings out 2 sloshes, each doing 45, to make for a powerful punch. This weapon is paired with suction bomb which can be good for limiting your opponents options and reef slider while not the best, is still solid for splat zones. Overall, this is kinda a slept on weapon.

Dread Wringer D is an often hated weapon, due to its somewhat underwhelming kit. Dread Wringer D has Squid Beakon and Wave Breaker, which might sound terrible, but it has uses. Squid Beakon pairs decently well with sloshers since Sloshers can hit from over walls, so knowing where people are becomes very valuable. With Squid Beakon's map locating and Wave Breaker's location and chip damage, this weapon can become a decent threat on the battlefield.
