Palettes refer to the weapons available in Side Order. You unlock them by completing the spire with other weapons. The order you get them in is already organized below. All palettes come with a kit to start with, but this can be adjusted via a vending machine. Palettes can also be upgraded using color chips, making them better in any way you can imagine. Each weapon also has two specific types of color chips it gets more often than any others, and the chances of this can also be adjusted by talking to Marina. Each palette correlates to a specific character in the Splatoon series, just for fun.
This is easily the best palette in the entire game. At first, it has a slow charge time, terrible range, no charge hold, and not-so-great damage per snipe. Even its starting kit isn't that great, and it has Ink Mine and Triple Inkstrike. But what makes this weapon so great is its most common tones. It has support as its most common and range as its second most common. This means that you can very easily focus on upgrading the main weapon quickly. As you upgrade its range and charge speed a bit, it becomes insanely broken. You could even throw in a bit of homing shots if you need to. Once you fully upgrade its charge speed, it loses its ability to tap shot, and can only fire out fully charged shots instantly.
